Habitats and classification
Lesson two is an environmental science lesson. The class explore different habitats, flora and fauna on the River Thames and work to classify them into different groups. They create food chains and consider the prey and predator relationship. Optional extension activities involve setting up a seasonal soil or bird survey and presenting data as tally or bar charts.
