Carnwath Road Riverside
Work update
The team is currently completing the landscaping and architectural elements of the new public realm area and reinstating the section of Thames Path on the southern edge of the site.
Artworks by artist Sarah Staton have been installed on the electrical and mechanical kiosk.
Works for the installation of new security hoarding are taking place. This has included some concrete breakout work. The team are working their way around the site preparing for and installing the final security hoarding.
Our working hours
Monday to Friday: 8am to 6pm
Monday to Friday: extended hours until 10pm (no noisy working)
Saturday: 8am to 6pm (no concrete breaking before 9am)
There is a 1-hour mobilisation period before and after these times.
We will limit the timings of concrete breaking to:
Monday to Friday: 9am to 11am, 12pm to 2pm, 3pm to 5pm
Saturday: 9am to 11am
Additionally, we have maintenance periods on the weekend:
Saturday: 1pm to 5pm
Sunday: 10am to 4pm

Our commitments
Our Carnwath Road team are committed to managing our works and mitigating any impacts. Example of measures we currently have in place include:
All static machinery and plant are being screened/enclosed
Hoarding has been erected on the site boundaries
Vehicle movements outside of standard hours are restricted
Use of low level directional lighting
Set limits to control activities, such as noise (Section 61 approval) from London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham
We erected a noise enclosure over the tunnel drive shaft (now removed)
Future of the site
There will be a new area of public realm left once we have finished constructing the super sewer.
Artist Sarah Staton has also been commissioned by Tideway to create two cast bronze sculptures at Carnwath Road Riverside. Read more here .

Submissions to the council We have been making a number of submissions to the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham as part of the consents, as we need to secure before starting different phases of work at Carnwath Road Riverside.
